Where donations go
Donations are received by Supporting Adult Independent Living Ltd, the organisation that operates Supporting Homeless. This is a non-profit organisation: any surplus goes back into the homes and the support, not to shareholders.
How placements are funded
Donations are a separate thing from how a place here is paid for. Most placements are funded through a local authority, through housing benefit, or through a combination of the two. Some are funded privately. We can talk through which route applies before anything is committed.
